    So I just built a similar set up just not a Cub. I can see the limitations of the mechanical lift and rotate. I don't expect I'll see deep snow like this in Colorado except for drifts. I am keeping an eye out for a cheap but powerful hydraulic set up for the future. I've only got about $320 in the tractor and blower before the knobby tires, wheel weights, and washer fluid for ballast were added. Best to look for these in the off season.

      Hi. 12312312 is the password to access the menu. The activation key is a different number and it was printed on the front of an SD card that came with the inverter (my video on the SolarEdge HD Wave shows a picture of the SD card). In my case, the activation number was also printed on a label on the side of the inverter. Because my SD card or the reader was defective, I had to enter the activation number manually. There was a menu prompt for entering this activation number but I don't recall the details.

    Thank god I found this video. I was hooking up a LAN connection to my inverter and messed up something in the settings. I think I put it to “pair up” with my dc switch off so it wasn’t linking to my panels anymore. Thank you for making such a detailed step by step guide. You saved me at least $100 if not more to have someone come out to fix my stupid mistake.

    After plowing *(pushing) snow for 60yrs, I became disabled and at the same all of my snow plows were down, so I bought a snow blower. We had a lot of snow that year, JAN 2014, and when I got to Menard's they only had one left and it was a floor model. It cost $700 which seemed like a lot, but it was a 7hp 2 stage with a light and 125volt electric start. There are only 2 problems with it, 1). The Carburetor has always required the choke to be on around 40-50% to stop the hunting. And 2). The primer bubble has stopped working altogether. But, redeeming factors are It has that 125volt starter and the light on the handle so I can use it at night. I have put that thing thru some hellish drifts like all of 2 feet deep, and slush from the county salting the road and plowing a huge glob into my driveway. To me it's a champion! So, I'm gonna drill out the main jet to fix the hunting, and maybe change the oil this year. I already ran a tube from the outside into the inlet of the carb for shooting starting fluid into it, so it starts right up now. * I have 3 pickup trucks w/ front plows and 4 tractors w/ rear blades. Only 1 works, a 1967 Massy Ferguson 165, but it's so big and it's a Diesel. One of these days I'm gonna...........ben/ michigan

    thats an old video but i am gonna give it a try and ask. i have a 40 panels with 40 optimizers ofc. whats the voltage i should be getting when measuring straight on the string + - cables? should it be 40v regardless if it is a sunny day or not OR something like 700-800v ? please get back to me if you see this because i have a problem with my system.

    • @Hullspeed
      @Hullspeed 8 місяців тому

      Hi. Allowable string lengths for SolarEdge have a maximum and a minimum. Check your spec sheet (cut sheet) for the model inverter you have. For example, if you had 24 panels - you would not be able to connect all 24 in a single string. Instead you could configure the 24 panels as 2 parallel stings with approximately half the number of panels (12) in series. Both strings can connect to the same lugs on the DC inputs of the inverter (both negatives on the negative lug and both positives on the positive lug). The string lengths do not have to match because the DC power optimizers will balance the voltages for the entire string, but there are limitations to how unbalance it can be. I'm not certain what the reasons are for the string length limits, but I will guess that it is a reliable operation limit on the low side (effective DC boost limits) and a voltage safety limit on the high side in case of faults that could be present (and perhaps DC buck limits). Depending on the inverter, you might be able to do 3 strings of 13, 13, and 14. Check the specs please.

    I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

    • @Hullspeed
      @Hullspeed Рік тому

      Hello. This is a grid-tied unit. It is not a battery operated or stand-alone unit. Because it is grid tied, the inverter assists in producing energy. If your AC unit is using more than is being produced, the balance will come from the power company. During times when you are producing more than is being consumed, the extra flows backwards through your meter and [if you have a NET METER] you will get some kind of credit for that. For tips about sizing your inverter, I recommend this video: ua-cam.com/video/wLxiOGb11ZM/v-deo.html

    Hello🖐️😎 I moved into a shared living house, we (other tenants) pay rent and utilities, so about the power bill I started wondering about the solar panels on the roof (13 panels) and the process of getting them cleaned, searching around I found we have the same unit you show in your video, I have a few questions, now I'm not sure if the current landlord has paperwork on this unit,, anyway when cleaning do you turn the on switch off ,and the Dc switch off?, also if you do, upon turning it back on, do you have to enter passcode etc back in before turning it on?,,also is the passcode the same on all units?

    • @Hullspeed
      @Hullspeed 2 роки тому

      Generally, you should never need to clean them. Even if they look hazy, nearly all the light energy is still getting through. Nevertheless, you do not need to turn them off to hose them down or wash them. The best way to power them down is with the on/off switch, but the DC disconnect would also work (but it’s a harder transient). They will power back up when you reverse the switch(es). The code is the same for all the units of this series. It is only used for changing the operating modes; that is, rarely if ever, following the initial setup. -Best
